“The Beach Movie”

This is sort of a personal movie but I think I’ll share it here. It was filmed last December 26th in Ventura County, California. I made this for my daughter Azure, thinking that someday, she is gonna get a kick out of seeing it. She’s such a little creator, happy to sit and draw or paint for hours. Make sandcastles or little fish out of clay. The beach is probably her favorite place to go in the world… I just wanted to capture the “zone” she gets into when she’s making something.
The music is from The Dead Beat Project, by a very talented musician and composer from France (he now resides in the UK) named Olivier Goyet. Olivier is collaborating with us and composing the music for NOW and I am very excited about it.
The song is called “The Reason of My Soul” and it should be noted that I slightly edited his original composition to fit this little movie.
Olivier is also part of ESOTERIC, a very cool band from the UK. Check em out!

Ben- What a tremendous gift to give your daughter. She will (underlined and in bold) know her father, his interests, his complexity, his inner thoughts, and how deep his love is for her. I find that deeply gratifying, deeply spiritual, and in a sense that you can understand- I comfortably grieve. Not only for me, but for you. I love you.
